Loch Ness Monster: New Sighting Of Nessie

There's bit a new sighting of the Loch Ness Monster, at Aldourie Castle just down the road from Pottery House. Richard Preston saw strange humps in the water whilst working in the Castle gardens. The full story is at STV Loch Ness Moster

Birds in The Garden

The Gold Finch has returned to the garden this morning, visiting the Nijar seed feeder. Not seen one of these for months.

Snow Falls Around Loch Ness

We've had lots of snow since yesterday. It snowed on and off for most of the day yesterday, but didn't settle much as it was too warm. Last night about 10.20 we had a thunderstorm and this morning it looks like this. Beautiful (but I'm glad I don't have to go out to work).

First Snow of The Season.

It's snowing big fluffy flakes here at the moment. First snow of the winter here, although it's not really settling at the moment as it's too warm. Around 1c.

Unexpected Snow Fall

We were in Glen Moriston yesterday afternoon on the other side of Loch Ness when it unexpectedly started snowing. It hadn't been forecast and it snowed great big fluffy flakes until the ground was covered and there was almost an inch on top of the car.
